After college she moved to Austin and began working for Prudential Insurance Company. She attained a series 6, 63, group 1 (life and health) and P & C licenses. She enjoyed working with employee benefits and group health insurance.
In 1999, Prudential sold it's health insurance division to Aetna US HealthCare. At that point she made the decision to become an independent insurance broker. Since then she has represented a variety of companies that offer competitive lines of group products, as well as those for families and individuals.
She is a member of AAHU (Austin Association of Health Underwriters) and AAIFA (Austin Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors).
